Recently, I have been experiencing recurring static on my microphone track, which is only audible in the recording. I have tried using a different microphone and updating OBS to the latest version, but the static keeps coming back at regular intervals. I don't have any issues with other programmes, such as Audacity. I've also tried changing the sample rate, but that didn't solve the problem. Does anyone know which settings I need to change to resolve this issue?

I would start by completely disabling all audio filters in OBS and making a test recording. If everything is clear in Audacity, then the problem is most likely not with the microphone, but with OBS itself or its settings. Also, check that the sample rate is set to the same in Windows and in OBS - I used to get strange noises and clicks because of this.
