OBS MIC CRACKING

Yes, matched all the 48000 in windows, selected proper mic, removed motiv driver, diabled that fuckin stupid Microsoft array.... this just recently started.... I have the SHURE 7, awesome mic... works terrific everywhere (audacity, riverside, windows) then when recording in OBS, out of nowhere, clicking, static, cuts, you name it... I have added, removed filters, reinstalled OBS , sample rates, updated USB drivers, mic drivers, on and on it goes... why does OBS have so many settings and issues with inputs... I have exhausted every video online, and still cannot find where this mismatch perhaps is ocurring, but every other platform I have is fine... just OBS. would love any other thoughts
