Question / Help Recording settings quality ?

Hello i am a bit outdated on what Recording format gives the best quality so whod love some help whed good settings for Recording settings

Running a
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-5930K @ 4.5ghz
I am not that worried about the size of the vido.
 
That lossless uses utvideo for the video stream, compression artifacts don't exist in it, no blockiness, etc. If it's not looking good there, you have other problems.

What more setting can i Switch becus Lossless is only a thing in Smiple mode whod be great to have som info on how to putt the advanced mode to use so to say
 
The preset that jim programmed for that uses true lossless compression. If you're not seeing the quality you expect from it, you're probably expecting too much from ANY recording.

Advanced mode isn't going to improve the quality any.

But when i use lossless in Dxtory it works fin quality wize
 
Using 1440p. Do the Video settings inpack the ouput recoding settings?
It's not as clear and sharp, the colors are a bit washed out

I just tested with that profile, MPC-HC with ffdshow installed allows me to play the file fine using the lossless profile in I420 with 709 full colorspace. I also have the utvideo directshow codec installed so I'm able to load the video in vegas.

Maybe try installing utvideo?

So the FFDshow is for Adobe so it can read the fils or is the utvideo for adobe so it can read it ? ... this whod be so mutch ezz if it whas some guide for high end quality settings for recoding :S ..
 
ffdshow OR utvideo, preferring utvideo because it specializes in the format that OBS is recording in instead of being a many-in-one.
