Any idea where I can get help with my technical set-up? I am on Mc silicon, producer for a streamer that lives in another town. I added blackhole 2ch and ndi to my set-up as the streamer can't hear the sound of the videos that I want to play in the live stream. Lost all the settings yesterday

I can try to help. Tell me what is ndi?
BH2ch must be audio output in your app (system, for this your need to create an Aggregate Device in macos) and in OBS it must be in, in audio capture device.

Streamer - to YouTube
Producer remote

I produce for a streamer that lives far away from me.

Producer-
macOS Laptop - Silicon M2
OBS installed
Streamer comes in via Video Ninja
Blackhole 2ch installed
NDI installed.

Set-up:
I open a Director's room in Video ninja
I send the link of the directors room to streamer
Directors room shows OBS video camera off
I copy the streamers link and paste it under sources in OBS - Browser
I put NDI on to monitor..
Streamer is now in OBS, in Vid Ninj Directors Room and in his own room as well as video in NDI
Streamer uses iPhone for camera and separate mic.

Sometimes we have an echo in sound

If I add under source a video in media the streamer can see the visual but not hear any sound

Network Device Interface (NDI) – A video-over-IP technology developed by Vizrt that allows video, audio, and metadata to be transmitted over a computer network. It's widely used in live streaming, broadcasting, and video production.

Both Blackhole and NDI are installed because one solves audio routing, the other solves transporting video/audio between systems.

My Mac- System Settings -Sound - output - headphones ////input - BH 2ch
Mac Audio midi settings - Created OBS - Output (aggregated) -BH 2ch and headphones

Video ninja settings
Video source - OBS virtual camera
Audio source - Mac Pro mic
Audio output destination - OBS OUT PUT (aggregated)

OBS Settings:
Virtual camera - output - default
Sources - Streamer and Producer mic
Streeamer - monitor only (mute output)
Producer - monitor only
Audio - advanced -monitoring device -blackhole 2ch

When producer adds a video under sources -media - streamer sees video but cant hear sound

These are the settings I have . Where have I gone wrong?

Show to me how you organized your aggregate device? Screenshot.
As I understood the problem is when you transfer any video clip from your OBS it goes to streamer without audio. Am I right?
What DAW are U using?

I do not use DAW. Only OBS, BLACKHOLE, NDI and Vid Ninja. I can send screen shots of all the settings on those

I do not need a DAW

Streamer can't hear the video's audio

• OBS Studio → scenes, sources, switching, sending stream output
• NDI Tools → moves video/audio between apps/devices
• BlackHole 2ch → routes Mac audio internally
• Video Ninja → brings streamer into your production
